I'm a trained dancer (ballet, modern, jazz), rock climber, runner/jogger, walker and beginning lap-swimmer. This blog will focus on running, but will include my cross-training adventures as well. I hope to include cooking, reviews of various equipment I'm using, nutrition, frustrations, and successes.
Biggest challenges:
-running in the Tucson heat and humidity
-keeping the "girls" held in check and still be able to breath
-side stitches
-New challenge! IT band funkiness

Why I run:
-feels wonderful (sometimes)
-gets me outside!
-helps me clear my dissertation-addled brain
-because I love to eat, drink, and still fit in my jeans
